CG shaders winthin external dll

Hi,
Can I use CG shaders within XVR in indirect way using external dll?
That is implementing a dll where there are functions that makes all inializations for shaders, enable usage of shaders and disable usage of shader.
Then I call this functions within XVR code.
Should be something like this work?
Is there something that I should pay attention to this inirect way of using CG shaders (shaders files paths, etc)?
I tried it but does not seem to work.

Hi Despina,
I think that what you are doing should work just fine. Please keep us informed!
Thanks,

I tried it again with even a very simple shader but does not seem to work.
Code in dll is ok.. since if I change settings to produce an executable instead of dll then that stand alone application works fine.
Are you sure that shaders within external dll can be handled by XVR?
Is there somebody that I can send to him the code to have a look on it?
I have a suspicious that the problem is with camera/"look at" but i couldn't clarify it.
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
are your doing the same initialisation both in the DLL and in the .EXE. ?. Maybe there is something we change in some command (like SceneBegin()) that interfer with your dll commands. Otherwise try to send us the code "support at vrmedia.it".

Hi Franco,
yes, initializations are the same both in .exe and .dll. I sent the code at the email you mentioned.
If you need any clarification on my code please contact me.

With doom3 shaders you can have mathimatical equations as values. My question is does anyone know how to turn a mathimatical equation stored in a string into an integer/float?
Sample Shader:
