It would be very nice if one could set a proper search PATH variable, i.e. with multiple paths, instead of just a single local directory. This is standard in every system I've ever used and typically a functionality provided by the OS calls (at least for looking for dlls). This is important when loading (multiple) external libraries, so that they can live in centralized places.

Having a seperate library path and model search path would also be beneficial.

You can use SetLocalDir("local_path") for this purpose, although it is limited to subfolders of your project directory.
